Before ZGiRLS, Brianna’s mom shared that she signed Brianna up for ZGiRLS because “She could benefit from understanding that there are other girls who feel the same way, and that with a bit of guidance from girls who have already gone through it, she can grow emotionally and feel more confident.”  Her mom also shared that Brianna struggled with confidence, goal-setting, and conflict resolution. At the start of the program, Brianna’s confidence score was 2.8 out of 5.

But throughout the program, her confidence began to grow. When asked what was the most important thing she learned about herself during the program she shared, “No comments can put me down. I am good enough.” By the end of the program, Brianna’s confidence score soared to 5.0, a perfect score.

When asked what advice she would give another girl about stepping into her confidence, Brianna said,

“Keep reaching your goals. You are enough.”

Before ZGiRLS, Rosy  shared that she hoped ZGiRLS would help Kennedy feel more “self-assured and confident in herself.”  Her mom also shared that she hoped the program reminded her that “she is a good person”. At the start of the program, Kennedy’s confidence score was 3.4 out of 5.

As the program continued, her confidence grew. When asked what was the most important thing she learned about herself during the program she shared that she learned to, “be myself and advocate for myself.” By the end of the program, Kennedy’s  confidence score jumped to 4.7, a 1.3 difference from the start.

When asked what advice she would give another girl about stepping into her confidence, Kennedy said, “Always be you.”

KENNEDY, 11


Before the ZGiRLS program,  Zenith shared that she hoped ZGiRLS would help Dani “Growth in sense of self worth and self trust. Help develop and strengthen her willingness to be in a learning process instead of feeling like she has to be perfect from the start.”  At the start of the program, Dani’s confidence score was 3.9 out of 5.

With the program, her confidence grew. When asked what was the most important thing she learned about herself during the program she shared, “I learned that I am not the only one that has negative feelings about their body image and that I can do things if I set my mind on it.” By the end of the program, Dani’s  confidence score rose to 4.5.

When asked what advice she would give another girl about stepping into her confidence, Dani encouraged her, “To be kind to herself and treat herself like a friend.”

AMAYA, 12

Before ZGiRLS, Megan shared that she signed Madison up for ZGiRLS because “Madison is very shy and we are hoping that the program helps her build some self confidence and enable her to come out of her shell a bit more around others.” Her mom also shared that Madison struggled with confidence.  At the start of the program, Madison’s confidence score was 3.6 out of 5.

But throughout the program, her confidence grew. When asked what was the most important thing she learned about herself during the program she shared she learned, “How to confidently express [her] emotions to people.” By the end of the program, Madison’s confidence score soared to 4.1.

When asked what advice she would give another girl about stepping into her confidence, Madison said, “It’s ok. Whatever you are going through you can work through.”

MADISON, 12



Before ZGiRLS, Kerry shared that she signed Calliope up for ZGiRLS to “Start feeling like she is enough”  Her mom also shared that Calliope struggled speaking up and remaining positive when difficult situations arise. At the start of the program, Calliope’s confidence score was 3.2 out of 5.

But as the program progressed, her confidence grew. When asked what was the most important thing she learned about herself during the program she shared, “I learned I can be however I want. I don't have to compare myself to other people.” and “I learned that I can express myself even though it may be hard.”  By the end of the program, Calliope’s confidence score jumped to 4.9.

When asked what advice she would give another girl about stepping into her confidence, Calliope said, “I would tell her that she can do anything she puts her mind to and that no matter what anybody says that she is amazing and can be herself.”
