As our Copywriter, you turn our mission, programs, and impact into clear, warm, and relatable language that helps families understand the value of  ZGiRLS. At its core, this role is about connection. You are the connector and amplifier of the ZGiRLS voice, making sure we show up consistently, honestly, and with a guiding presence. Your words help a parent decide to sign up for ZGiRLS because they trust that “we get it.” They help families feel supported once they are in our community, and they help our community feel connected to the middle school girls at the center of everything we do.

Your role focuses primarily on email, website, downloadable resources, program materials, and long-form content. You are responsible for maintaining ZGiRLS’ brand voice and tone across all written content, ensuring clarity, warmth, and accessibility, and ensuring that communications are accurate, well-organized, and aligned with program priorities.

Our board plays a pivotal role in steering our organization towards greater impact and ensuring we stay true to our vision and mission. They are also intricately involved in shaping the strategic, generative, and fiduciary direction of the organization.
