ZGiRLS Honored Through Heroes of the Deep Award at Seattle Kraken Game, Expanding Confidence Programming for Girls
Seattle, WA — November 3, 2025 — ZGiRLS was recognized at a Seattle Kraken home game as part of the Heroes of the Deep Award, honoring individuals making a meaningful impact across the Seattle community.
The award was presented to Bianca Mouton, a professional athlete with the Seattle Majestics and a longtime ZGiRLS athlete mentor, in recognition of her sustained commitment to community service and youth development.
As part of the award, Bianca directed the $32,000 Heroes of the Deep grant to ZGiRLS, ensuring the funding would directly support programming for young athletes in Seattle.
ZGiRLS is reinvesting the award funds directly into its programming by supporting approximately 300 middle school girls through a confidence and mindset based experience delivered in collaboration with the Seattle Kraken during the Voyager’s Cup tournament at Kraken Community Iceplex on January 17, 2026.
Through this grant, ZGiRLS is delivering its mission to ensure every girl has access to the mental skills and tools she needs to build confidence, emotional resilience, and self belief at her most vulnerable and formative stage of development.
