ZGiRLSsweat: Q&A with Lindsay Tarpley

Olympic & NCAA skiers started ZGiRLS. Olympic & pro soccer players created Sweat™ Cosmetics. No doubt, female athletes make winning entrepreneurs. That’s why we’re kicking off #ZGiRLSsweat series with 2x gold medalist, Lindsay Tarpley!

Name: Lindsay Tarpley (@lindsaytarpley5)
Sport: US Women’s Soccer (@usoccer_wnt)& The University of North Carolina (@uncwomensoccer)
Job: Chief of Strategy at Sweat Cosmetics (@sweatcosmetics)
My favorite way to sweat: yoga & circuit training

The mental skill I practice the most is: goal setting…I enjoy having short-term and long-term goals and working hard to go after them

My biggest goal this year: continue expanding Sweat Cosmetics (@sweatcosmetics)and spreading the word about our awesome company

The coolest sports memory: winning 2 gold medals and standing on the podium…also, the journey to every major championship…I love the quote, “it’s all about the journey”

Olympian Lindsay Tarpley

When I fail or face self-doubt I: picture myself doing something well

Confidence is: being strong in who you are

1 tip for pre-game nerves: embrace them…I was always nervous and it helped bring out the best in me

And I would tell my 12-year-old self: work hard, set goals and go after them…don’t live with any ‘what-ifs’

I mostly eat: everything, I’m not picky

My role model: Sue Enquist (@senquist6) UCLA Softball’s first All-American, 11x National Champion, and Hall of Famer

I support ZGiRLS because: girls rock!

A fun fact people don’t know about me: I am the middle child and have two brothers!
